XL64R Gear Shifter Mount Holder for Playseat Challenge, Thrustmaster TH8A TSSH

This listing is for a new part number XL64R Xlerator Wheel Stands, Right Hand (Left side drive USA) Shifter Adapter Mount Holder to use with the Playseat Challenge for holding the Thrustmaster TH8A, TH8RS, TSSH (TSSH see below) shifters (for Logitech shifters use the XL65R or XL65L, see below). This versatile adapter is made in USA from CNC milled and drilled 3/16" thick rugged steel plates, that are wire feed jig welded and painted black. Puts the shifter down at your side in the proper console position for more realism and shifting comfort. Zinc plated mini muffler clamps hold the adapter quite firmly on the chair leg. Chair folds up without having to remove shifter, if positioned shifter forward like in pictures. The adapter can be adjusted up and down chair leg a little to find that sweet spot for your body size. Remove the clamping mechanism from the shifter and bolt to the adapter with (4) M6-1.00 x 16 mounting bolts that come with the adapter. This XL64R adapter is welded for use in the USA (left side drive) to shift with your right hand on the right hand side of the Playseat as you are sitting in it. Please see my other listing for XL64L Left hand shifter adapter to put adapter on the left side of Playseat, as you are sitting in it, (right side drive) for you folks across the pond in UK and AU, or for mounting flight controls, hand brakes, mouse pads, cup holder, etc... on the left side.
For placement of the Thrustmaster shifter to be able to fold it up, you will probably want to mount the shifter on the adapter with the housing closer to the wheel. Loosen the (4) top shifter plate socket head bolts and turn the shifter guts 180 degrees to reverse the shifting pattern to make it shift right, tighten socket head bolts.
The XL64R is drilled for the Logitech Shifter but it sits about 5-1/2 inches farther back than the Thrustmaster turned forward. It sits to far back to be usable for me (5'11" with long arms), puts the knob about on the G or E on the Challenge lettering on the strap. The Thrustmaster Sparco TSSH shifter with the XL64L (left side adapter) will work on the Playseat Challenge back chair leg bar on the right side to hold the TSSH as a hand brake (see pictures). The XL64R will work on Left side on back chair leg as hand brake bracket. The XL64R-L can be flipped 180 degrees on either side chair leg to put the mounting ledge up or down (TSSH is taller, flipping will give more mounting adjustment options). The TSSH has theaded mounting holes on both ends on the underside for mounting. Have pictures below of Sim racer putting the TSSH under the shifter with the XL64L at a 90 degree angle to the XL65R, looks like a great angle for handbrake, handle very close to shifter and very usable.
