WISS Scissors Display Cabinet

Description

Up for sale is this sturdy and functional J. Wiss & Sons display case.  It can be used both for selling and for displaying collections of smaller objects.  There are six (6) clear glass shelves.  More can be added as needed, given the flexibility of the metal clip shelf support system pictured.  Some of the shelves pictured have their white wrapping paper on.  The door swings freely.  Dimensions:  43" (H) x 30" (W) x 5" (Deep).  Each shelf is 28-1/2" long x 3-3/8 " deep x 1/4" thick.  The interior space allows objects with a front-to-back dimension of up to 3-1/2".  I have no key for the lock.  Local pick-up only; however, I can deliver it to a 50 mile distance from the  Lancaster-to-Philadelphia corridor.  Thanks for looking.
Note:  The glass shelves and metal strips and clips supporting them are not original to the display case.  It was featured in the J. Wiss & Sons 1930 and 1934 catalogs with multiple groups of scissors hanging vertically within the case.  It was sold as a promotional piece to assist shopkeepers in merchandising the extensive variety of scissors made by Wiss.
