Vintage Vandoren Paris Bass Saxophone Sax Mouthpiece #2 w/Cap Excellent

For your consideration is a very nice vintage Vandoren Paris bass saxophone mouthpiece, in really fine condition. As you can see in the photos, there is some discoloration in the rubber starting in the bore and heading towards the shank, but obviously that doesn't effect the playability of the mouthpiece.
The mouthpiece is stamped "2" on one side and France on the other. The tip, rails, and table are in excellent condition, and the bottom of the shank is in perfect round. Mouthpiece is used but not abused - appears to have never been dropped. There are few obligatory teeth marks on the beak, but they're light and the beak still feels smooth to the touch. This would make a good piece for someone's collection.
Included is a metal cap that's seen better days and sort of fits, but it's not perfect. That's all - there are no reeds, no ligature, no cork grease sold with this auction. What you see is what you get.
