Vintage Thomas J Lipton Tea Planter Ceylon 3 Lb. Tea Tin

Description

Offered for sale is a vintage Thomas J Lipton Tea Planter Ceylon Tea Tin. The tin is very old and thus has some scratches, rusting, and darkened areas.  See photos.  They do not detract from the artwork however.  The tin is in good condition for its age.  There are lovely images of India on all four sides of the tin.  The corners are also decorated with scrolls and a flower.  The images on the front and back panels depict a scene of women harvesting tea in the field.  The Lipton logo appears on their baskets.  On the sides there are images of India's wetlands complete with water buffalos, herders, and palm trees.  The images are vivid and only slightly affected by use and wear.  The Tin measures approximately 8 1/2 by 5 1/2 by 6 inches.  It will be shipped USPS priority mail.  Please don't hesitate to send a message to me if you have any questions.
