his listing is for a vintage Brilhart mouthpiece for alto saxophone. It is an Ebolin (black plastic) version of the "Personaline" model. The Personaline was Brilhart's flagship model back in the day. It featured the "Vita-curve" facing, whatever that is! These also have cool retro faux wood grain circular bite plates inlaid into the beak.
This one has a small font serial number (76896) on the side. It is stamped S2 on the other side. The "S" refers to it having a short facing curve, and the 2 is the tip opening. The actual tip opening measurement is .062".
Unfortunately, this mouthpiece has sustained some damage. There is a little chip right on the corner of where the left side rail and the tip rail meet. There are also some minor nicks on the tip rail, and some scuffs on the table. This mouthpiece would need to be refaced to be a good player (it does not play well as is). Of course most players would want to have it opened up anyway, because .060" is a very small tip opening. I'm not sure if the damage would 'face out' as part of a standard refacing. It might need to have some material added (epoxy or acrylic) to fill in the chipped out material, or it could be shortened slightly to re-establish a new tip rail slightly further back. That's something for the re-facer to decide though.
Other than the aforementioned damage, it is in good condition. The bite plate is free of indentations. There are no cracks.  There is a fair amount of scratching and scuffing on the exterior, some of which might buff out if you so desired, but either way it wouldn't affect playability. This mouthpiece has been cleaned/sanitized.
