Saxophone metal sax mouthpiece - Great Sounding Mpc!.
I’m not sure of the tip measurement on this mouthpiece, but it’s marked as a 7, and a chart I found online indicates it should be around .100 opening. Tip, rails and table are all immaculate (see photos). The only issue I see is a spot where the plating has worn away on the shank, right under the name “Hawk” (see pics). However, this of course does not affect the playing at all. A mouthpiece patch is in place (can be removed by buyer, if desired). This auction is for the mouthpiece only – no ligature.
This is a great sounding mouthpiece. It has a really focused sound. I bought it used over 10 years ago, played it a few times and put it away (as I’ve done with so many mouthpieces – I just don’t have time to play them all!). Now it’s time to clear out my mouthpiece drawer and move some of these pieces to more loving homes!
