This listing is for a vintage Runyon baritone saxophone mouthpiece. This is a very early one, as it is marked with a serial number. From what I gather, they stopped putting serial numbers on them by some point in the 1950's, so this would probably be either a late 1940's or early 50's example. The serial number is a little worn, but I'm pretty sure it is 2089.
The facing number 4 is stamped on the table. The actual tip opening measurement is .096". This is a very slim style bari mouthpiece, so it takes a smaller ligature (not included). A standard tenor sax ligature should fit. The inner side walls are not scooped, but are undercut (not completely straight). It has a roll over baffle and a medium chamber.
This mouthpiece is in overall very good condition. The only issue is a minor tooth gouge on the beak, which you may want to have filled with epoxy and smoothed, and/or use a cushion over it. The facing is perfectly smooth, and original. There are no cracks or other damage. This mouthpiece has been cleaned/sanitized.
Please feel free to email me with any questions.
    Thanks again for looking!
    Note to international buyers:
Due to the current global pandemic, international shipments via USPS mail are experiencing significant delays. This is due to lack of available transportation (ie. mail is normally carried overseas as cargo on commercial passenger flights, however the flight schedules have been slashed). European buyers have experienced wait times of up to 2 months for shipments to arrive. If this potential wait presents a problem for you, please refrain from purchasing at this time. I sincerely apologize for this, unfortunately unavoidable, inconvenience.
