    Description

    Tone Edge 5* original tip measured .092, refaced by Erik Greiffenhagen to .095, this one plays very well, it is in a good tip size for the rubber Link design, you get some of the natural brightness of the smaller tip, along with a particular focus and tone quality.I would say this one plays medium bright, with a full fat tone which has nice character.
    Link aficionados might note details such as the grinding texture on the table, no number in the chamber, and the baffle, as characteristics of the pre 1980s Babbitt  Links.
    This is a genuine rubber Link, and there is plenty of meat in the tip too.
