Product Description
Cam Chain Breaker Riveter -Breaks and Rivets/ Stakes all over head cam chains on all model Japanese and European OHV Cam Chains.
This tool is designed to rivet chain links to form an endless chain and is versatile enough to be used on cam chain to drive chains or as a chain breaker by pushing the pin out.
Each kit includes 3 pin sizes to fit a variety of chains.
This tool will break and rivet 420-630 rear drive chains.
It comes with 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, replacement tips for different size Cam Chains.
Will break chains from #35 to #630
For chain #520 and up, it is recommend to grind the rivet head
Recommended for light to medium duty use.
This is an essentail tool, no motorcyle mechanic should do without it.
Attention Buyers : When using any type of chain removal tool certain established mechanical practices must be followed by the user or damage to the tool or chain may occur. You need to first grind off the rivet head on one side of both pins before attempting to press out the pins or separate the chain . This is a common mechanics practice and common sense . You can not just simply press out the pin as it is hardened and flared over on each side. Pins and side plates are hardened.
When riveting the chain together you should get a chain with a removable master link , or a rivetable hollow pin style master link. Trying to re rivet solid chain links will can never be riveted with a simple hand press, you will only damage the tool.
