Compression means the number of pounds necessary to compress a piece of foam 25% and still bounce back to the original thickness. For example, a 4" thick piece of foam that requires 35 lbs. to pack it down 1" and have it return to its full 4" thickness has a 35 lb.

Regular Density
- a soft foam of 33lbs compression rate (IDL); good for light use upholstery and cushions
2.
Medium Density
- a foam with perfect combination of softness and firmness; has a 36lbs compression rate (ILD) and is designed for regular use. If you want cushion that is not as hard as a rock or a mattress that sinks when you sit on it, this type is better.
3.
High Density
- a dense foam with the compression rate of 44lbs designed for heavy usage and is good for ornamental cushions. If you want a cushion that is a little denser that the Medium Density foam, then this is the right foam for you.
-PACKAGING-
All FOAMS ARE SOLD PER SHEET (not per yard) AND ARE ROLLED FOR PACKAGING.
FOAM PACKAGES NEED TO BE OPENED IMMEDIATELY ONCE YOU RECEIVE THE PACKAGE. DO NOT LET THE FOAM SIT UNOPENED FOR MORE THAN WEEK!
DO NOT OPEN WITH A BOX CUTTER! USE A BALL PEN OR A PENCIL. START BY MAKING A LITTLE INCISION AND BREAK IT FROM THERE.
-CARE INSTRUCTIONS-
When unpacking, allow at least 2 days for foam to breath in order to recover its original size and form.

To remove creases that may have been obtained from the packaging, please remove the item from packaging as soon as possible and let it breath for 24-48 hours to return to original shape/size. For rugs, roll the rug tightly and leave it for a few hours to remove any folding lines that may have formed during transit.
