This is the famous laser-trimmed Dave Guardala Super King mouthpiece, which supports contemporary tenor playing, jazz, swing, big band, blues, rock, and funk. Capable of edgy playing or velvety subtones. Fabricated by Guardala’s licensed German company, under the supervision of master mouthpiece maker Nadir Ibrahimoglu. The brilliant silver-plate finish is in excellent 95% condition, no toothmarks on the bite plate (which had previously been protected by a mouthpiece cushion). This piece is in very good condition, no chips or damage, rails perfect, lightly played and well cared for. A mouthpiece cushion was always used to prevent tooth marks, and the original plastic bite plate is intact with no bite marks. Very superficial ligature marks on the top of the mouthpiece. This is a monster player capable of roaring bass notes, soaring altissimo, lush subtones, and everything else in between. Supplied with cap and DG ligature. Sorry no returns, sales are final.
