his listing is for a "Jazz Soloist
Sepia Tone" tenor
saxophone mouthpiece made by Japanese mouthpiece maker Gottsu. This is a modern remake of the classic Selmer short shank Soloist mouthpieces from the 1950's. In fact, this even has "S. Shank" stamped on the table, and utilizes the same type of facing designation as Selmer.
This mouthpiece has the classic horseshoe chamber, and flat inner side walls, just like the original Soloist. This one comes in the "F" facing, with a tip opening measuring .091".
This mouthpiece is in excellent, lightly used condition. The facing is perfectly smooth. There are no tooth indentations on the beak. It has been cleaned/sanitized, so it is ready to play!
