As a professional wrestler, Dave Bautista is known for his time in WWE from 2002 to 2010, in 2014, and one final run in 2018–2019. Outside of professional wrestling, he is well known for his acting career, most notably as the character Drax the Destroyer in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Bautista began his wrestling career in 1999, and in 2000, he signed with the then-World Wrestling Federation (WWF, renamed to WWE in 2002). From 2002 to 2010, he gained fame under the ring name Batista and became a six-time world champion by winning the World Heavyweight Championship four times and the WWE Championship twice.
Presented is an armband that was worn by Dave Bautista in the WWE ring. The match-up was for Monday Night Raw on March 28, 2010 at US Airways Center. It was tossed out into the crowd and caught by a fan close to the ring. The black sleeve features the white Bautista logo. The interior has the proper tagging. It was autographed for the fan that caught it at a later event. When it was presented to him he confirmed it was his. Bautista signed it happily in silver paint pen (“9”).
