To ensure that it remains light enough to handle it easily with one hand, Cold Steel has also added a single wide fuller in the center of the blade that serves to reduce weight, improve balance and add the stiffness required to withstand strong bumps.
The Cold Steel handle® Norman Sword also remembers many original survivors. It features down spatulated quillons, a leather-on-wood grip and a modified cocked hat knob. This shape of knob was specially chosen, as it allows more room for the hand while counteracting the blade and serves as a weapon in its own right.
The sword comes with a wooden sheath covered in leather with steel accessories.
