gasket installs easily to restore that factory airtight seal.   The adhesive creates a superb bonds to both ceramic/stone and metal very well.

Installation directions:
Carefully, remove old gasket with putty knife.
Clean surface with rubbing alcohol or food safe degreaser
Lightly sand surface to remove stubborn grease or old gasket
Squeeze contents of tub onto base of egg where gasket is to be installed.   Press on gasket to install, do not stretch.
Repeat process for dome (top) of egg.
The adhesive MUST be heat cured before cooking! (see tube for instructions, slowly raise temperature)
Installation notes
: There is enough adhesive to make a 1/8" bead by 29 feet.  you should put two 1/8" beads on the base and two on the lid. You will still have adhesive leftover. If you are not handy, please look at our listing for our premium Nomex gasket for Big green egg, with self adhesive.  Returns will not be accepted once opened or if the install is not done properly.
