    Description

    Alaskan Scrimshaw Cribbage Board / Game ~ Inuit & Polar Bear Hunting Seals / Walrus
    This is a super nice Alaskan or Canadian scrimshaw cribbage board / game.
    On the front side there is a polar bear and Inuit in their hunt for seals. The seals are diving into the water.
    The back side is a group of Inuits hunting walruses with harpoon in hand.
    Two corners are rounded, carved and notched...a nice artistic detail.
    The other side has a carved knob that screws into a hole containing six pegs.
    This is made from an organic material and is not some type of poly resin...some type of lattice can be seen.
    Notice the board is thinner on one end and thicker on the other.
    It is 6 1/2 inches long and 1 6/16 inches wide.
    It is in excellent condition...no chips or cracks.
    One of the pegs is not original. I carved it from a piece of wood to match the other five.
