    This is an original press photo. Note contrast between St. Augustine grass at left, untouched by sod webworms, and grass at right, leveled to the soil line by the pests. Ethion is recommended as a spray but it's unobtainable except in gallon sizes. Hence liquid dieldrin now is recommended by Elton G. Thompson, district entomologist with the Louisiana Department of Agriculture. Garden Photo measures 10 x 8.25 inches. Photo is dated 08-17-1972.
