    Description

    1900s Remington Standard 10 Typewriter Poster Rare
    A very subtle poster ad emphasizing the prestige and heritage of the outdated Remington Standard 10. Once the stalwart of typewriting industry Remington, faced sharp competition from the Corona typewriter.
    The standard ten is featured in the poster in the little round graphic as well as on the secretaries desk.
    Its hard to read but the name and model are visible on the graphic.
    This is a full size poster ad not from a magazine, a very rare item. Would have been intended to hang on the wall in a store.
    There are no tack holes or signs it was hung.
    There are condition issues, the paper is in good shape overall. Some light creasing is present mostly along the bottom left corner.
    No signs of deterioration in the paper, this needs to be conserved and framed properly.
    We located this item with two other rare turn of the century advertisement posters at an estate sale. They were recovered from a large trunk with other period appropriate paper goods.
    Our research has yielded no information about this or the other three posters.  We feel they show no signs of being reproductions.
